This was the week for radical change and our chaplain was ready and willing to set the stage for religious discourse on this theme. His porch talk was entitled "Apocalypse: Radical Texts for a Radical Community." The students at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary where Steve teaches Old Testament Bible are indeed lucky to have such an emotional, caring person in their midst. We were honored to have Steve and his wife Wendy with us this past week.

E-mail, Facebook, Twitter, Blog....Yes this is the language of the Digital Age and the topic for Chautauqua this past week! The lectures dealt with the advances, problems and advantages of social media today.

Meanwhile on our Porch the conversation dealt with problems within the mainline churches that possibly might be solved using social media. Our chaplain David Morse led us throughout the week seeking answers to such perplexing queries.
