"A GRAND TIME WITH GRAND PEOPLE, GRAND MUSIC AND GRANDCHILDREN!"

Music is always over the top at Chautauqua and this week we heard from the Ampitheater the musical strains of Charles Wesley.  With a heavily populated Methodist audience, Jared Jacobsen and choir led the attendees in Wesley hymns.  However, the UM House had its own Wesley Day as Charles himself (Larry Homitsky), in period dress and discourse, engaged an audience of over 120 people.  A reception followed in the UM House.  A personal thank you to Barbara Burr for chairing this amazing event and to the many friends of the UM House for all their help.

Our chaplain was also a 'grande' person.  As General Secretary of Discipleship Karen Greenwaldt and her husband Russ Harris provided conversational topics and with their easy going style brought to the porch many enlightening and delightful moments.

But it was this child's playful innocence & his desire to be a magician that charmed the hearts of the people on the porch.
